Beach Views

This award winning house looks directly down the beach, designed by Samuel Curtis Architecture. The aim of the design was to create a modern living space to highlight the ever changing scenes of the outside world. There were certain areas of the design that were critical to ensure the visual lines and views weren’t disrupted.

The most striking feature of this house is the view which is able to shine when you notice there is very limited amounts of aluminium showing. Design Windows Nelson worked closely with Sam to maximise an unobstructed view. The aluminium frames have mostly been hidden within the structure.

Working on a challenging site on a busy road had its issues but from the outset. Access to the site to the site was difficult and we needed to work around other trades to ensure all transit requirements were met.
