Known as the “White House” with its white cladding, roof & aluminium joinery this Fendalton home was rebuilt following the Christchurch earthquakes.
Attention to detail providing flush sight lines from the cladding to the internal walls was a key feature of the project as was the wish to keep the homes character while upgrading the finishes to the highest standard.
With the full aluminium joinery installation undertaken by Design Windows there were a number of challenges to face to ensure the best finish for the homeowners, with these successfully managed the end result is something the homeowner can enjoy for years to come.
Stunning raking windows across the peaks of this home create a light filled home with a unique appearance.
The living area benefits from a corner cavity sliding door system with a bookend finish, allowing the homeowner to completely open up the living space and enjoy an open flow to the secluded outside garden.
The pivot entry door has a flush architectural sill to give unimpeded entry to the striking foyer.
